#9 Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti: Smooth and Creamy
Today we have Pitchfork's #9 album of 2010, Before Today by Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti. Pitchfork also named one of the tracks ("Round and Round") on this album the best song of 2010, so I thought I'd take a listen and see what visual connections I make with that track in particular.
"Round and Round" by Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti (2010)
The song is overwhelmingly mellow, with a kind of retro coolness. I saw flowing shades of burgundy, like a rich red wine, complemented by smooth cream-colored waves. There was something dark about it too, almost like watching those colors in a dimly lit room or outside on a city street. Below you'll find some items that really capture the smooth and creamy quality of the song.

GET THE LOOK: ARIEL PINK
Ariel Pink (born Ariel Marcus Rosenberg) can only be described as eccentric, mostly for his stage persona, but his clothes are no exception. They are bold and loud, mixing textures and incorporating various prints, particularly stripes and 1980s-inspired graphic designs, and the color pink often makes an appearance. Sometimes the looks can be vaguely androgynous and he clearly does not shy away from using a women's piece here and there. With all those possibilities, it was tough to come up with a single look, but here you go. To be honest, many consider him a fashion wreck, but this look was a lot of fun to put together!
